Day-to-day maintenance

Under normal circumstances, the instructions below apply.

Use good doormats to prevent as much sand as possible from coming in. Sand acts as an abrasive on your floor. Use protective felt pads on tables and chairs (no rubber). Clean the floor every day, preferably with a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment. The floor can also be cleaned with a duster. Wipe up spilt liquids immediately using kitchen paper or a damp cloth. Stains can be removed using a VERY WELL WRUNG OUT damp cloth and Chapel Parket Fresh & Care. (N.B.: excessive moisture will damage the floor.) Then wipe the floor dry.
Always use the same treatment and avoid anything that leaves an oily film, such as e.g. green soap. Avoid contact with aggressive or chemical substances.
